Contact Lists

Contact Lists let you organize your CRM contacts into focused groups for targeted outreach. Create color-coded lists, add contacts from LinkedIn searches or your CRM, then bulk-enroll them in sequences or export them as CSV — all from one place.

Getting There

Navigate to Sidebar > Sales CRM > Lists (/crm/lists/). You can also add contacts to lists directly from the Contacts page using the bulk action bar, or from LinkedIn search results using the "Save to List" button.

How It Works

  1. Create a list. Give it a name, an optional description, and pick one of 8 colors (Blue, Violet, Emerald, Amber, Red, Pink, Cyan, or Gray) for visual identity.
  2. Add contacts. Use the "Add to List" button on the Contacts page (select contacts with checkboxes, then pick a list). Or save contacts directly from LinkedIn search results.
  3. Browse and manage. Open a list to see its contacts in a paginated table with search, sorting by name, email, company, or date added, and checkbox selection.
  4. Take bulk actions. Select contacts and choose an action: remove from the list, add to a sequence for automated outreach, or export as a CSV file.
  5. Integrate with sequences. Enroll list contacts directly into email sequences. The system deduplicates against existing enrollments so contacts are never emailed twice.

Key Features

  • 8 color choices — Assign a color to each list for instant visual recognition in the card grid and throughout the CRM.
  • LinkedIn "Save to List" — After finding emails in LinkedIn search, save contacts with one click. OnLeads automatically creates CRM Company and Contact records.
  • Bulk add from CRM — Select multiple contacts on the Contacts page and add them to any list using the sticky bulk action bar.
  • Search and sort — Find contacts within a list by name, email, or company. Sort columns by clicking headers.
  • Sequence enrollment — Bulk-enroll list contacts into a sequence. The system skips anyone already enrolled, preventing duplicate outreach.
  • CSV export — Export selected contacts as a CSV file with First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone, Title, Company, and Source columns.
  • Contact detail integration — View all list memberships for a contact on their detail page, shown as colored dots with list names.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Use lists to segment contacts by campaign, industry, or stage. For example: "SaaS Prospects Q1", "Conference Leads", "Enterprise Targets".
  • Assign distinct colors to different list categories (e.g., Emerald for active campaigns, Amber for nurture, Red for hot leads) for quick scanning.
  • After a LinkedIn search session, save your best contacts to a list immediately. You can enroll them in a sequence later when your emails are ready.
  • A contact can belong to multiple lists. Use this to create overlapping segments without duplicating data.
  • Deleting a list removes only the list and its memberships — your CRM contacts are never deleted. Feel free to clean up old lists.
